Darian Worden was born in New Jersey in 1985. His interest in reading and creating things came at a young age. In his early teens the internet opened a world of learning for him. He soon discovered that he liked writing about interesting things.
One night in college when he was unable to sleep, he thought of making a career out of writing, a thought that he hadn't entertained in years. It was that night when Bring a Gun to School Day began to form in his head. He founded Arise Press in December 2007 to publish the novella and continues sole ownership of the company.
Darian is currently working on an action novel entitled Trade War, and the script for a comedic graphic novel entitled Space Trip. He administers and creates content for DarianWorden.com. He is also involved in the Alliance of the Libertarian Left.
Darian identifies politically as an individualist anarchist. One can get a pretty good idea of his politics from some of his blog posts.
When he isn't sitting at a computer or coming up with ideas that he hopes will get him freedom and money, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, walking, playing with guns, reading, watching movies, thrashing his ass off at metal shows, and doing stuff with friends. He usually doesn't write about himself in the third person.
